Northwest Haiti Christian Mission, Canada has been serving in Haiti for over 5 years in co-operation with other Christian organizations. We are established, experienced and committed to providing food, medical care and ministry to the people of Haiti.
Thanks to the generous support of our donors and the work of many devoted individuals we have been able to re-establish container shipping into the country and bring much needed food and medical supplies to missions and missionaries all across the Northwest of Haiti.
The first few months following the massive earthquake that devastated Port-au-Prince last January resulted in a great outpouring of foreign aid and relief work. Now that news of the disaster has faded from the headlines many government and international aid organizations are being recalled from Haiti leaving behind mostly faith based organization to continue the work.
As the nation of Haiti begins the work of rebuilding-work that will continue for years to come-we continue to bring food, medical supplies and aid workers into the Northwest to minister to the needs of the Haitian people. And the needs are very great indeed.
Northwest Haiti Christian Mission Canada does not have any paid employees-we are all volunteers dedicated to serving the Lord-100% of all donations go directly to support the work of the mission.
